We, Kaptan Demir Çelik as the only steel manufacturer in the Thrace Region hereby
COMMIT
To protect touristic structure and agricultural areas of the region in order to respect the Nature, Human and Business and for Sustainable Development
and
Habitable World;
For this purpose,
to implement ISO 14001 Environment, ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety and Sustainability Management Systems established in integration, to develop and improve them continuously to meet Environment, OHS, Human Rights and Socioeconomic requirements of the local community and our other stakeholder; to bring into connection with an efficient communication discipline, to develop it and to conduct a business understanding that is respectful ethical values,
And to comply with responsible sourcing principles,
Against any kind of discrimination, encourages equality in opportunity;
to obey any kind of legal legislations regarding our activities,
to understand and determine risks and opportunities in our activities arisen in
consequence of our interactivity with our stakeholders and
to approach the events decisively in order to minimize the risks;
to provide consciousness trainings regarding Environment, Occupational Health and
Safety to all our employees and to ensure them to work without having occupational
illness,
to provide a working environment that promotes and supports the mental health and wellbeing of all employees, without experiencing any occupational accident;
In order to prevent pollution;
to reduce environmental impacts of our emission and hazardous wastes
by using the best available technologies,
to reduce and monitor emissions from production and transportation activities,
to use natural resources and water productively,
to reduce energy consumption, to send existing wastes for recycling
in order to increase their recyclability and
maximize usage of the recycled materials and
to contribute the nature by providing proper disposal to the non-recyclable materials.
